Girls Retreat

So, I finally gave in and went on a "Girls" retreat with my favorite sister (she is also my only sister).  Lucky for me to have a sister, especially one whom I enjoy spending time with.  She has a great group of friends and they were such great company.  I relaxed and worked on binding a quilt, watched some great movies, and ate way too much.  All in all it was a great time!  I came back with a finished quilt and a list of things I would like to improve on as well as a list of items that I would like to accomplish.  If it all gets done, this will be the most productive outcome one could hope for.  I need to remind myself of that next time the opportunity comes around.  So for now, remember to be good to yourself, and those around you.

My Little Spot in the World

We live in an age of limitless options & oportunities, be that good or to the contrary, I guess you will have to be the judge of that.  As for me, I am just happy to have my little spot in the world.  Grateful for the associations I have, blessed and humbled by the family I love, joyful for every day I am granted breath & life.  So I choose this day to better enjoy and appreciate all that I have, and each day count my many blessings!
